If your craftsmanship is solid, you get referrals, but word of mouth isn’t enough, no matter what business you’re in. You need consistent marketing to stay top of mind. 

Originally from Central Pennsylvania, the Hoffmans settled in Asheville over a decade ago, bringing with them a legacy of over 50 years in the log home restoration and maintenance business. 

Founder Dave Hoffman sets the foundation with his expertise. He ran the construction division of a major log home manufacturer, trained contractors worldwide, and understands the complexities of log homes inside and out. 

Like their family, their business is growing and expanding. Dave leads projects. Mitzi, Dave’s wife, is the operations expert; Dustin, Dave and Mitzi’s son, is at the helm of the family business, while Dustin’s wife, Laurie, manages their finances and payroll. They’ve also expanded their crews and operations across states to North Carolina.

To keep their additional crews busy (busy hands are happy hands, after all), they turned to a combination of social media, digital, and direct mail marketing to keep their business booming.

I helped them with the social media slice. 

Dustin’s rich family history and log home industry expertise sets Log and Timber Solutions apart from their competition. Our goal is to educate his audience on maintaining a log home so they don’t have costly repairs down the road. 

Building upon their rock-solid reputation in the industry, we post on Facebook and Instagram 2–3 times per week through Meta Business Suite. Dustin also ran short ads on Facebook on posts that were performing well. 

The numbers speak for themselves and are nothing short of astounding. I attribute their mind-blowing numbers to their family’s good reputation in the industry and marketing across multiple channels, not just social media. I can’t wait to see what’s next for them.
