Made from the natural ingredients Kaolin Clay and Colloidal Oatmeal, Mike’s Remedies’ main product is Stops the Sting which neutralizes the venom found in insect bites and stings. Over the years I’ve helped them hone their voice and create a consistent buzz to their brand voice across various digital marketing channels.
We redesigned the website with the goal of creating brand awareness and educating the consumer of what Stops the Sting does and what problem it solves. Mike’s Remedies is made with all about natural ingredients and their brand’s voice has an undertone of whimsy to it. We incorporated the colors from the original product, maroon and yellow, throughout our digital efforts to create a more cohesive and consistent brand experience. The site is setup so that as they offer more products they’ll be easy to add as they grow.

There’s more to email marketing and design than just a well designed email and pushing the send button. To take your email marketing to the next level to need to have the end goal in mind. What do you want to accomplish? Higher sales? Brand awareness? A better more qualified email list?
Next up is content. Now that you know the goal, what can you offer your customer? A discount? Or can they learn something new?
Then there’s timing considerations — how often, what time of day, and what day of the week? After you get that figured out, one needs to optimize it and test it and make sure it can be viewed on mobile, tablets, and desktop devices.
