Happy Super Bowl Weekend!

Who are you rooting for? I’m a Bronco’s and Vikings fan. Since, by default, you were one or the other if you grew up in South Dakota with no home team like I did. And since neither of those teams is in the Super Bowl, I’m there for the friends, halftime show, commercials, and food. Here’s to your team winning this week, and enjoy this installment of 5 Things to Share. Cheers!

#1 May The Force Be With You…

Last month I talked about finding focus in the new year. And guess what?! I found some by listening to this epic Star Wars playlist while writing and creating content. It has 10 hours and 44 minutes of music from the movie soundtracks to keep you one with the force. And when I need to work out some of my darker side issues, I’ve been entering the Metaverse playing BeatSaber and slicing up blocks.

#2 Stop, Collaborate, & Listen

According to HubSpot, everyone should be using these 10 new Instagram features in 2022. One I’d love to try is Collabs, it allows you to co-author content that’ll show up on yours and a fellow Instagram user’s profile. If you’re interested in trying out this feature with me, give me a holler.

Hello Toothpaste Tablets Packaging

#3 I’m All Smiles

For toothpaste packaging! In my quest to bring less plastic packaging in the house, I’ve discovered these toothpaste tablets by Hello. I love the minty fresh breath I get and the recyclable packaging. It looks good on my countertop and it’s a lot less messy. Say goodbye to that gunky toothpaste cap or drips on your shirt. If you’re more of a tube person, you can rejoice in 2023 when Colgate launches in the U.S. with the packaging you can throw straight into the recycling bin.

#4 Getting Started with Email Marketing

Are you thinking of launching your own newsletter or revamping your email marketing? Here are some resources to get you started…

Dove Commercial Super Bowl Ad

#5 Sneak a Peak at the Super Bowl Ads

Want a sneak peek at some of the up-and-coming Super Bowl ads? Here are a few of my favorites (so far)…

Dove’s As Early as Five

If you’re a parent, just try holding back the tears (I dare you) when you see this ad from Dove that highlights the heartbreaking hair discrimination girls face as early as age 5.

Stay Golden with Lay’s Chips

Or have a laugh, stay golden and reminisce with Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd before Seth gets married in this Lay’s Chips commercial.

Time to Take Peggy for a Walk

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Salma Hayek Pinault team up in this ad for the for BMW’s electric car. See what happens when Zeus retires to Palm Springs, CA. Maybe retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be?
