5 Things to Share: December 2023

Happy Holidays Internet People!

One of my favorite family traditions from the holidays is creating a year-in-review slideshow.

I love reminiscing and reliving the good times I had with family and friends throughout the year, and it fills me with a sense of gratitude and joy.

I hope that by sharing, we can learn from one another, and you’ll get some inspiration for your own business in 2024.  Thank you for reading and subscribing this year!

#1 Big Waves

If you've read my newsletter this year, you've probably heard of Big Waves, but if you haven't, check them out here. For the last couple of years, I've been helping them with their social media and web maintenance on their Squarespace site. 

 

#2 Log & Timber Worx

Last year, I met Dan and Will from Log & Timber Worx at a Sashco Zero Failures happy hour. I love working with them because they have a great eye for design and are creative collaborators.

This year, we knocked out a bunch of print projects together, from business cards to an Interior Services sell sheet and brochure.

Now, if I could clone them.

#3 Hahn Solo Consulting

Hahn-Solo helps consumer products take their business to the next level. They specialize in the toy and gift space—using their force powers to market other consumer products.

I’ve been helping them market their clients' products with email marketing in Constant Contact. And every once in a while, I pitch in on the design of a sell sheet and other marketing collateral.

#4 Alpen High-Performance Products

A high-end window manufacturer in Louisville, CO, I helped Alpen with all things marketing, from researching Salesforce as a CRM (that's fancy for Customer Relationship Management) software option, social media, MailChimp email marketing, direct mail, PowerPoint presentations, customer personas, and more.

#5 Perma-R Products

When tradeshows were coming back in person, Perma-R Products was looking for a way to connect with customers and increase sales. Together, we built a MailChimp email marketing campaign that delivered results.

I was blessed to work with a long list of clients this year and enjoyed collaborating with businesses big and small. Please be on the lookout for these projects coming to the website soon.

Clean ’N Seal

Based in Brainerd, MN, the folks at Clean N Seal ventured out from paver and concrete restoration into Log Home Restoration.

 

E-Blox

Consumer Products: Toys

I helped the fellas at E-Blox with the production work for some top-secret licensed packaging. Coming soon to the website. Learn more+

 

Ear Community

Nonprofit

Ear Community found that Melissa Tumblin needed a more efficient way to send out emails to her audience of about 3,000. So we got her set up in Constant Contact.

 

International Mass Timber Alliance

Nonprofit

We're tweaking their site and sending out a monthly newsletter to create more awareness and drive traffic to their website. Look for more on that in 2024.

 

Studio BKA

Architecture Firm

I worked with the team at Generation Web to help Kim Allen from Studio BKA, an architecture firm in New Orleans, implement an interactive portfolio website update.
